I have started my journey with databases early in the year 2000. It was the first time I have seen SQL Server and was under impression how smoothly the system worked. At that time I wanted to learn all about that. I wanted to know how the data is stored and processed.
Years passed and I achieved a lot of certifications including MCT, MCSE and others. I have the luck that I have observed how the data platform evolved from its birth to the place where it is now. I still can remember the times when the term βcloudβ was only for βweatherβ.
The world is changing. My role is to describe it hereβ¦
I am also very grateful that I have been a part of the Data Community Poland (former PLSSUG) association since it was established. I am a co-leader of the local group in Katowice. I do a lot of speaking at conferences including the biggest community conference SQLDay.
