Storage mode in Power BI Desktop (Preview)
In Power BI Desktop you can specify the storage mode of tables, providing you with control over whether table data is cached in-memory for reports.
Power Query gets simpler and better… For example you can extract data from PDF files and HTML pages. And lot more…
In SQL Server, when talking about table partitions, basically, SQL Server doesn’t directly support hash partitions. It has an own logically built function using persisted computed columns for distributing data across horizontal partitions called a Hash partition.
